RAMILLA HAJIAGHAYEVA (BRYKOVA): Ph.D. in biological science and academic coordinator of ESCOLAR project. Ramilla is a researcher at the Center of mathematical modeling and design of sustainable ecosystems of the Agrarian-technological Institute in the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia.

In the ESCOLAR project, Ramilla Hajiaghayeva is an academic module leader of the courses “Urban Dimension in the Cohesion Policy”, “Environmental policies and regulations adaptation of EU experience,” and “European Union project management.” Ramilla is a member of the teaching staff in the course “History and fundamental principles of European integration.”

ROBERTA ALONZI: Ph.D. and Associate Professor of History of International Relations. She is a specialist in diplomatic history, in particular on European diplomatic history from Bismarck to the Second World War. The fields of her research interest are various: definition and evolution of the European system of alliances in the period marked by “diplomacy of imperialism”; analysis of the relationship between the economy and international politics in the Southeast Asian chessboard;  Italo - Soviet relations during Second World War; Political Identity of European Union.

In the ESCOLAR project, Roberta Alonzi is the academic module leader of the course “History and fundamental principles of European integration.”

 

VIACHESLAV VASENEV: Ph.D., Associate Professor and leading Russian expert in urban ecology, urban soil science, and environmental sciences. Author of 48 papers in scientific journals (29 in Scopus and WoS), 5 book chapters in CRC Press, Springer, and Catena Verlag. Oral presenter at more than 25 international conferences in Europe, USA, Africa, Central America, and Asia. Member of European Geosciences Union (three times granted with the young scientist award), American Geosciences Union, European Society on Soil Conservation, International Union of Soils Science, and Russian Soil Science Society.

In the ESCOLAR project, Viacheslav Vasenev is a member of the teaching staff in the course “Environmental policies and regulations: adaptation of EU experience.”

 

ELVIRA DOVLETYAROVA: Ph.D., Director of the Agrarian-technological Institute, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN) and Director of the Department of Landscape Design and Sustainable Ecosystems of the Agrarian-technological Institute. Member of International Federation of Landscape Architects, Moscow Alliance of Landscape Architects, Russian Dokuchaev Soil Science Society, Russian Educational and Methodical Association in the direction of Landscape Architecture. Author and lecturer of 8 courses for bachelors and master. Author of 10 textbooks for master students. Supervisor of 50 bachelors, ten masters, and 1 Ph.D. projects.

In the ESCOLAR project, Elvira Dovletyrova takes care of project management. She is involved in the research activities leading to the project publications and in the organization of the dissemination events.

 

IVAN VASENEV: Professor at the Agrarian and Technological Institute of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, Dr. Sc. in ecology and soil science. Head of Ecology Department and the Laboratory of Agroecological Monitoring, Ecosystem Modelling, and Prediction in Russian Timiryazev State Agrarian University (RTSAU). He is also Head of the Science Commission in RTSAU Council, Head of the IUSS Commission on Soil Evaluation and Land-use Planning, Editor-in-chief of “Agroecology” journal, member of RF Higher Certifying Commission (in Biology Sciences). His teaching activities include lectures in Ecology, Agroecology, Monitoring, Modelling, EIA, Agrotechnologies, Landscape Science etc. In the ESCOLAR project, Ivan Vasenev is the academic module leader of the course “Urban farming in EU: perspectives, challenges and practical implementations”.

MARIO DE MARTINO: Ph.D. in Comparative Politics and currently teaching assistant at the Faculty of Economics of the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia. He has earned a post-graduate master's in European Interdisciplinary Studies from the College of Europe (Natolin campus) and a Master's degree in International Studies from the University of Siena. Mario De Martino has extensive experience both in the policy and programmatic dimensions of EU education policies. From 2010 until 2012, he worked in Brussels at EACEA, dealing with the management, monitoring, and evaluation of the implementation of the EU projects. At Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, he is in charge of the EU funded projects and is responsible for cooperation with European universities.

In the ESCOLAR project, Mario De Martino is a member of the teaching staff in the courses “Urban Dimension in the Cohesion Policy” and “European Union project management.”

 

Vladislav Plyushchikov: He earned a Master’s degree in “International relations”, Diplomatic Academy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Russia, a Master’s degree in “International relations”, Peoples Friendship University of Russia and a Bachelor’s degree in “International relations”, Peoples Friendship University of Russia. Vladislav Plyushchikov is a Ph.D. candidate in History at Peoples Friendship University of Russia and teaching assistant at the Department of landscape design and sustainable ecosystems of Peoples Friendship University of Russia Agrarian and Technological Institute.

KRISTINA IVASHCHENKO: Ph.D., Assistant lecturer in the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, senior researcher in the Institute of Physicochemical and Biological problems in Soil Science of Russian Academy of Science and. Young scientist in ecology and biology of soils. In recent years her study has focused on the functioning of microbial community in urban soils. . She has 35 publications, including 7 papers in scientific journals (4 in Scopus and WoS) and one book chapter (in CRC Press). She gives seminars “Data analysis and visualization with R” for masters (in English).

In the ESCOLAR project, Kristina Ivashchenko is involved in the research activities leading to the project publications and in the organization of the dissemination events.

 

ANASTASIYA KONSTANTINOVA: PhD. in Sociology. Graduated from Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University) in 2011. Defended candidate dissertation entitled “Universities in the system of higher education: strategies and prospects of development in modern Russia” in sociology of management in RUDN University (2017). Author and co-author of about 20 papers in scientific journals. Co-executor of state grants of the Russian Federation Government on the topics "Intercultural interaction in a multiethnic youth environment: values, factors, mechanisms (sociological approach)" (2009-2013); "Health as a social value: the attitude towards health and the peculiarities of the formation of health-saving behavior among young people (by the example of students)" (2013-2014).
